About the Event

Want to make your own beautiful moss pole for your house plants? This class is for you!

We sell these beauties in our store but we are offering classes so that you can make your own at home or gift them to your loved ones who also love plants.

What are moss poles for?

Moss poles are used to allow climbing/vining/trailing to grow upwards. Plants that are able to grow upwards often produce larger leaves and in the cases of monstera, increased fenestration. Allowing a plant to climb also can result in a fuller and more manageable house plant.

What kind of plants like moss poles?

Moss poles are great for monsteras, pink princess philodendrons (or any philodendron that likes to climb!), scindapsis, ivy, pothos, and more that you want to add an extra special touch to. If you ever wonder why some monsteras produce bigger leaves or are more manageable, it's because it's using a climbing moss pole or trellis!

What's included in the class?

This class provides everything needed to make 2- 14" moss poles or 1- 24" moss pole, you can make that choice when you sign up. This class provides the wood, moss, gluesticks, gun, twine/wire, wood sealer and a variety of accent colors to choose from including purple, yellow, blue and bright green.

NOTE: For the safety of our students, the wood will be precarved as a stake so that knives are not involved and to prevent injury.

Because of COVID guidelines, we are limiting the amount of participates to FOUR per class! Masks are REQUIRED for the entire duration of the event.
