Micans Philodendron, Philodendron hederaceum var. hederaceum, will always be one of our favorites here at It's A Plant Thang. It's gorgeous velvet textured leaves are a pinkish color when new and turn to a dark green once mature.  Great for beginners (forgiving when they dry out completely!) and they do not need a ton of light. 
 
Light: Can tolerate low light, happiest in bright indirect light for faster growth and more pronounced pinkish leaves.
Soil: Half perlite, half regular potting soil. 
Water:  Stick finger into soil up to your knuckle, if soil is dry, water. Very forgiving if neglected.
Humidity: Not required but they do love it.
Temp: Keep above 55°F
 
TOXIC. Keep away from human and fur babies.
