The Rabbit Foot Fern, Davallia fejeensis, is one of our most asked about ferns because of the long furry rhizomes that cover the surface of the fern. These 'rabbit foot' looking air roots search for moisture and bring it to the plant so it's important they are sprayed and kept moist and never potted under the soil as this promotes root rot. Though a bit more high-maintenace then it's other fern cousins, it's worth the extra care as they are extremely unique and beautiful.
