Medium light is our favorite because most house plants can survive in this type of lighting. Which means the possibilities for your collection are endless and well .. that's exciting! Medium light is great for homes that have an average number of windows and a few trees here and there to filter out south facing windows that can be too hot on plants. Basically this light is the grooviest of them all, consider yourself lucky!
what's considered medium light?
It's hard to give an exact answer because many factors include what direction your window is facing, any obstructions like large trees or patio covers and curtains, etc.
But a good place to start is following this guide:
+ Within 5 feet of a south or west facing window
+ West/East facing window
+ South facing windows with lots of trees
- Shady area next to a sunny spot
+ Any place you can see in during the day but will most likely turn on the light if doing activities in that room.
